What Did Church Membership Classes Look Like in the First Century?

I personally have a problem getting a “basics for new believers list” from this passage in Hebrews. It is only a sampling of the kinds of things that new believers learn, not an outline. I was hoping to see more info from the early church fathers, etc. Disappointed.
