Research Shows Benefits of a Classical Christian Education

“The University of Notre Dame sociology department was commissioned by the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS) to do research on their effectiveness. Notre Dame researchers, incorporating data from the larger Cardus Educational Survey, studied thousands of alumni aged 24-42.” - Veith

Discussion

Our third and fourth daughters were homeschooled in teamwork with a Classical Education program out of Winston-Salem, NC. My wife taught them at home four days a week, and drove them to WS (50 miles away) one day. It was an excellent program, and our daughters continue to show the benefits as adults in their mid to late thirties. Once I was exposed to this approach, I wished our two oldest daughters could have had the same opportunity. Indeed, I would have benefited from it myself, though I had a really excellent high school program at BJA in Greenville, SC.
