NewPeter's vision

Sat, 11/17/12

I think Peter’s vision in Acts 10 pretty much disproves her conclusions about God’s will being eating like we are Israelites under the Mosiac law. I don’t see God telling Peter to eat unclean things for I have made it clean, but if you really want be in My will, go back and do the opposite of what I just told you.

I also find it interesting that in all of Paul’s writing he doesn’t give us instruction on what to eat. When he does talk about food, it isn’t focused on what it to eat, as if the eating it is wrong, but on how eating it would effect our fellow believers. He is willing to not eat things, not because they are wrong in and of themselves, but for the benefit of others.

NewRomans

Sat, 11/17/12

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
