The votes are still being counted, so it's hard to tell for sure yet, but it appears that significant (possibly margin of victory) number of evangelicals sat this election out. Frankly I understand those people even less than I understand the evangelicals who voted for Obama. Even if you couldn't bring yourself to vote for Romney or a third party candidate, there are still state and local races that matter. Sad that Mormons more consistently practice their belief system that evangelicals.
