I went to a few Halloween parties as “Elisha” with two young ladies who had those bear slippers that were popular in the 1980s. Sadly, not too many people got the joke, but it was a lot of fun.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.

I’ve looked for a little Martin Luther monk outfit, since it’s “Reformation Day.” But I haven’t found one.

It’s only 2 years, btw, until the 500th anniversary of the 95 theses nailing.

Every time I see stories like this I remember the church Halloween/Harvest Party where the teens were encouraged to come as Bible characters and one young lady came as Rahab the Harlot. At least she wasn’t Eve.
