Mississippi Baptists back "Personhood Amendment"
If approved by voters, the initiative would amend the Mississippi Constitution to define the terms “person” or “persons” to “include every human being from the moment of fertilization, cloning or the functional equivalent thereof.”

This, to me, is a very bad idea. It may be sincere but how it has been thought out seems blind to some staggering implications which they do not seem to anticipate. I doubt it will pass, though.
