Would LDS Church influence Romney if president?

My question is, if the LDS influenced Romney, in what was is it suspected they would and what effects, negative or positive, are anticipated?

This is what’s puzzling to me about those who fear his Mormonism. What moral or political stance, outside of polygamy, would the LDS take that would be different than our moral or political stances?

I believe the answer lies in observing Mormons in public office, particularly is significant ones and I believe that answer is that does not appear to be the approach of the LDS.
