This is going to be a landmark case for Christians.  It will decide a whole littany of other elements that can affect churches and elsewhere.  While it may not directly affect it, it will start tilting things one way or the other and have some level of implication.

....may be simply whether discrimination against homosexuals is seen by the Court as pervasive as it was against blacks.  I was thinking that the baker's appeal was going to be shot down like a nerdy kid by the prom queen, but apparently there is some legal space for maneuvering in terms of the law here.

Part of it may be that he has no problem serving same sex couples and selling them a cake, just not a wedding cake.

Gorsuch leans very heavily for individual rights and supports gay marriage as does Trump. So does Justice Kennedy regarding individual rights.  It will be interesting to say the least.  Let's hope commonsense will prevail in favor of the Baker.
