Dog People, Cat People, and Religious People

“A study of pet ownership has found that religious people are just as likely to own dogs as everyone else, but they are markedly less likely to own cats.” - Veith

Discussion

Because we’re not divided enough, we need to organize into/identify as dog people and cat people?

Not a cat fan myself, but we do own 1 each of the feline and canine critters. “Fair and balanced.” They get along surprisingly well… even during “lockdown” (which, around here, is a spin term… we only had a ‘safer at home’ order).

As for the psychological analysis… How do “more neurotic” and “more open to experience” go together? Are they saying cat people are enigmatic and seemingly random, like cats? ;-)

Views expressed are always my own and not my employer's, my church's, my family's, my neighbors', or my pets'. The house plants have authorized me to speak for them, however, and they always agree with me.
