... reminds me of all the separation-practicing, fundamentals-of-the-faith-embracing believers who are "no longer fundamentalists."

Views expressed are always my own and not my employer's, my church's, my family's, my neighbors', or my pets'. The house plants have authorized me to speak for them, however, and they always agree with me.

While a "rose by any other name would smell as sweet," I think there's a reason that names like Jezebel, Rahab, or Judas aren't used much any more -- those names were characterized too much by various excesses.  Not sure dispensationalism is in that category yet, at least in the circles in which I travel.
