Five Characteristics of a Church Leader Who Will Lead Well in the Post-Pandemic Era
Does anybody plan to continue to use some kind of video conferencing option in conjunction with traditional, on-site services? We already did livestream for the morning sermon and Sunday School before COVID hit, and a Zoom option for the interactive classes (Sunday school, Sunday evening) is not really an “extra step.”
What “outside the box” options have you stumbled across that you may continue after the madness ends?

Tyler,
We added a daily elder / staff devotional video each weekday morning as well as provided a livestream of our elders praying together for our church on Tuesday evenings. In addition, we recently did a Wednesday night livestream worship event with our worship guy who took requests.
We will not likely change anything. The only change with COVID-19 is adding Wednesday Night to our two Sunday Livestream broadcasts. These are led by our three elder/pastors on a rotating basis. We will probably drop Wednesday night when things return to normal, but otherwise, continue as before. We have been Livestreaming Sunday services, plus special services such as Spring and Fall Bible Conferences for many years. We believe COVID-19 has enlarged our listening audience, and we expect to have a larger number tuned in when things normalize than we did before the crisis.
