Yes, there is such a thing as sinful complaining, but the perspective people in customer service at companies have starts with the assumption “they’re telling you because they care enough about you to tell you.” It continues with the reality that for every person who complains to you, there are about a dozen others who complain to others, and people who have had a bad experience talk to more people than who have had a good experience.

Again, sometimes you’ll need to agree to disagree, and sometimes you’ll need to confront sinful attitudes and actions, but IMO it’s far better to create a safe place to discuss these things.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
