"'Pastor, are vaccines the Mark of the Beast.' This was a sincere question from a church member about a year ago. My answer was definite. 'No, vaccines are not the Mark. Believers will KNOW what it is when it comes.'" - P&D

Let me start by saying that I don't believe that vaccines are the Mark of the Beast. I do struggle with trying to get as exact as this article does. Prophetic literatures is so hard to draw specifics from, that makes me hesitant to draw some of these conclusions.
The Bible offers a bit of insight into this. The Jews failed to draw the right foresight from the OT prophecies of Christ. The failed to see them at the time they were with Christ and up to the very moment of their fulfillment. If these disciples were in the presence of Christ for 3 years and were still struggling with the fulfillment of the prophecies right up to His actual resurrection, it causes me to pause to fully understand a lot of Revelation.

A related topic is the number "666". The Bible uses the number only 3x, once in Revelation 13:18 and twice referring to the amount of gold Solomon received (1 Kings 10:14; 2 Chronicles 9:13). Interesting that these 3 references have some connection to finance/economic interests, and that the only other references outside Revelation focus on gold. What does it mean? Who knows?
