“A five-day trial for Hoogland on a similar but separate contempt of court charge is scheduled to begin on April 12. During that trial, Hoogland is expected to be allowed to share his side of the story unrestrained by orders restricting his freedom of speech, according to sources.” - C.Post

It’s interesting to note that another Canadian court is preventing gender transition (top) surgery for another young lady, a legal action initiated after the mother discovered her daughter was given testosterone injections without her permission. So like in our country, there is fierce argument over whether a minor may consent to gender reassignment—and really, given that most states do not allow minors to consent to actually having sex, precisely why a minor ought to be able to consent to having his/her sexual organs removed is not entirely clear to me.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
