NewWants / needs & cost benefit analysis

Wed, 02/12/14

It’s also helpful to do a wants / needs analysis and cost to benefit analysis

I recently bought my first Iphone (5s).

I bought it because where my son is serving in Afghanistan is remote enough that the have very limited internet connectivity. No more Facetime or Skype (which he had before when he was at a large base). Now only able to text him I use an App call WhatsApp

Technology is very expensive. I’ve wasted much on it. Of recent … keep the laptop for 4-5 years instead of 3 (idea I got from work). Buy only the amount of technology I need. (I think Chromebooks could easily meet my needs going forward)
