NewTrumps comment about wanting…

Sun, 08/31/25

Trumps comment about wanting to get into heaven but showing that he does not understand how, should be a wake up call for all true Christians to share the good news. I often ask people, "If the Lord were to ask you,- 'why should I let you into heaven?'- what would you say?" Most of the time people will answer either, "I don't know" or "I haven't really thought about it." The next most common answer is that they have done good things. After I bring up the subject, most want to talk about it. Many people want to go to heaven but do not know how. If we have the answer we need to share it. If we do not have the answer, we need to find it. The answer is to trust Jesus Christ as you follow him as your Lord and savior. It is so much fun when I ask the question about heaven and then the person repeats the gospel back to me. That happens quite a bit too.

This is sad to read. But not sadder than any Thomist. No doubt he trusts the advice he gets from JD Vance.
