New Report: The Abortion Pill Harms Women

“10.93% of women experience sepsis, infection, hemorrhaging, or another serious adverse event within 45 days following a mifepristone abortion…. at least 22 times as high as the summary figure of ‘less than 0.5%’ in clinical trials reported on the drug label.” - Breakpoint

Discussion

If you read the link that Breakpoint provides, and look into things a bit more, the datasets are about the same, but the FDA does not see ER visits, subsequent abortions, and severe bleeding as consequential. They rather view it as people just going to the ER and such to get reassurance--and apparently subsequent surgical abortions are simply viewed as more revenue.

To draw a comparison from the process of having children, when my wife would have difficulties, there was an established triage process that greatly reduced things like ER visits--we'd get reassured at home by the triage nurse, or else told to go to X medical facility to get checked out. But apparently, despite similar complications, the abortion industry does not have this.

We might say "OK, so the abortion industry tells its customers that they're on their own after an abortion....this is acceptable precisely why? I can't think of any legitimate medical procedure I've ever had where I wasn't given someone to call in case I had difficulties."

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
