Report: Most immigrants vulnerable to deportation identify as Christian

“About 80% of the 10 million illegal immigrants who could be at risk of deportation from the United States by the Trump administration are Christians, a new report published by a coalition of Christian advocacy groups estimates.” - CPost

Discussion

Given the preponderance of Mexican nationals among the ranks of illegal immigrants, this should come as a surprise to noone, really, except for those (h/T Senator Kennedy) who are "the reason they put instructions on shampoo bottles."

That noted, in a pluralistic society, are we to really get exercised about which religion is followed by those who come to our country without a visa? What the coalition is doing is basically emotional blackmail, and on a premiss that not too many would think plausible; that we are actually going to deport ten million illegal immigrants. What is actually more likely is that we are going to start with those who have criminal records outside of immigration violations, complete a reasonable border wall, and then see how much it changes.

Aspiring to be a stick in the mud.
