This is an interesting state. For years the conservative evangelicals have made elections almost entirely a single platform discussion. Republican's were prolife and the left was not. Sure there were other issues to discuss, but in the end this was the core deciding factor. Many of us knew this was coming. At some point, both the left and the right will be prochoice. It is clear that Trump at a personal level is prochoice. I am surprised that more pro life people are not up in arms around IVF. The platform was to overturn Roe v. Wade, and in the end when that was done, abortions have increased. Abortion stance has always been important to me, but it is not my single issue during this election.
