Britain recently ended most gender transition services for those under age 18, and many predicted that suicide rates would greatly increase. So far, no such thing has been seen, and that means the claim "you can either have a dead son, or a live daughter" appears to be false.
In other words, gender disphoria is by and large a transitory phenomenon among children. Praying for a family member of mine that hers would be that way, too. She's technically an adult, but things started much younger.
