Citing partial lifting of LGBTQ hiring ban, Texas Baptist group to stop forwarding money to CBF

Discussion

CBF split from the Southern Baptist Convention in 1991, basically because SBC was too conservative for them. They’ve been slowly following basically the same declining path as the Mainline Protestant Denominations ever since.

Per Aaron’s comment, if you jettison the Word of God when it’s inconvenient, well, you’ve jettisoned the Word of God. No telling where you’ll end up, except for the fact that most of the mainline denominations are swirling around the same drain. That just might be a hint.
