Five Good Reasons to Accept Transfer Growth
….about this article is what it leaves unsaid, but is implicit; there are also reasons that a pastor might reject transfer growth and suggest they go back. I’ve left a few churches for what I consider good reasons—women in the pulpit, refusal to preach the Word of God, KJVO and Trail of Blood tendencies, and acceptance of weakness on the Trinity/prosperity theology—and interestingly, each time I got to explain why.
Which is another way of saying that I’m glad that people understand that it’s wrong to recklessly swap churches, but to simultaneously recognize that there are certain “pastors” who really don’t belong in a pulpit.
