15 Reasons We Should Still Be Using Hymnals
Still opinion. Church worship forms should not be held up as measures of separation (I’m not accusing of Aigner is doing that). I love using a hymnal. And I love many more recent songs that are not in any hymnal and are not likely to be so any time in the near future. I don’t criticize either method.

Failed to pick up a hymnal this morning as the AV guys had trouble with the lyrics on the screen. Oops. And I’ve learned to read music well from singing from hymnals—they are humbling in how difficult it is to pick up the TB lines in a lot of the older hymns. And then to go through old hymnals and the gems (and garbage) of that era….
