Example: Do you like shirts from teen retailer Abercrombie & Fitch? How about a Christian copycat that transforms the chain’s name to “Abreadcrumb & Fish,” a reference to the biblical story of Jesus miraculously feeding the multitudes with bread and a few fish?

I can’t help but think of the book by Franky Schaeffer, Addicted to Mediocrity. I think it puts a great perspective on all this “Jesus Junk.” Is Christianity ever going to get back to “approving things that are excellent”?
