Reverend Billy Graham's son says Obama 'may be faking his Christianity' and Romney 'isn't a Christian'

Go to church, hug babies, quote the golden rule…props on the political stage. We should not be so easily duped by any of the candidates. I wonder Exodus 20:7 applies here at all:
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Our God is far above politics, and his worship (“religion”) is not a mere tool to be used vainly (“without real significance, value, or importance”) in the political machine.
‘Our God is far above politics” ???
This election cycle has already given many good opportunities for witness, such as:

And in the Old Testament (Kings I & II)
Much of politics can be dismissed as bluster. But I do not believe God is not interested in your discernment when you vote, nor will you be disinterested when you are told you cannot read Romans 1 from the pulpit.

JT, I think you misunderstood my point. I agree that politics is important and that there is moral right and wrong involved in our election choices. I am lamenting the candidates’ weak attempts to pose as Christians in order to garner the evangelical vote.
He will declare Romney a mormon and Newt, a catholic, a Christian. How very Graham of him. Romney, Santorum, and Gingrich are all lost.
1 Kings 8:60 - so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the LORD is God and that there is no other.
