Nice Christmas season poll!
A multitude of camels shall cover you,Does this apply in any way to the Magi?
the young camels of Midian and Ephah;
all those from Sheba shall come.
They shall bring gold and frankincense,
and shall bring good news, the praises of the LORD.
Nice Christmas season poll!

Ed, I would have liked a vote for “Merely coincidental at Christ’s birth and following, but definitely millennial.”
As I looked at the passage, it is in a section dealing wtih millennial blessinigs, and it fits with sections of other prophets. All nations will stream to Jerusalem to offer sacrifices to God, and camels are the mode of transportation that the ancient peoples would have understood.
It is possible it is one of those prophecies with a “double fulfillment” where the time of Christ’s earthly ministry was a vague shadow, and the millennium is the total fulfillment.

[Dick Dayton] Ed, I would have liked a vote for “Merely coincidental at Christ’s birth and following, but definitely millennial.”I am a big “double fulfillment” guy with the less literal fulfillment first and a fuller, more littoral fulfillment later.
