He really didn’t know what the school’s mascot was?

Personally, if I’m going to send my child to a school every day for 6-8 hours, I’m not only going to know what the school mascot is, but how many freckles are on the principal’s nose. There is a picture at the link that shows a painting of the demon mascot on the wall of the gym that is probably 20’ high- IOW, the dad has not been inside the school for his child’s entire first year?
Also- I think if you don’t like what a school stands for, you find another school. People who sign the petition on the internet probably don’t even have a child in the school- so what’s their interest in what the school does and doesn’t do?
