The Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano said Thursday there was a “clear and despicable intention” to strike at Pope Benedict XVI “at any cost” with recent revelations of how the Vatican handled clerical abuse.
Are Catholics stuck in the past somewhere? Don’t they understand that crimes must be dealt with by civil authorities and not by the church?
