Council on Disp. Hermeneutics

The 18^th Annual Council on Dispensational Hermeneutics was hosted by Southern California Seminary on Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 17 and 18, on the campus of Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon, Calif. The theme for this year’s conference was, “Counterpoint: Comparative Views on Key Biblical Passages.”

The 17^th Annual Council on Dispensational Hermeneutics will be held Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 18 and 19, at Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary in Ankeny, Iowa. The theme for this year’s conference is, “Answering the Myths About Dispensationalism.”

Editor’s note: This interview dates back to last fall, but I only recently discovered it—and found it quite interesting. The interview was conducted by Adrian Isaacs, M.Rel., Th.D (Cand.). He interviewed Dr. Christopher Cone for dissertation research at Wycliffe College, University of Toronto.

Isaacs: In your estimation, how would you describe the current level of scholarly, academic discussion regarding dispensationalism within the overall evangelical academic community (eg. virtually non-existent, some discussion exists, still a fair amount of discussion)?
