NewWas the nation founded on…

Was the nation founded on the "Gospel of Jesus Christ"? Is the Gospel a message to nations or to an individual? We need to be careful that we don't conflate social principles that align to Christian teaching as being the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel is that we are all sinners, individually, that Christ died for individual sinners and that our faith in Jesus Christ individually redeems us individually. The Gospel is not about the redemption of a nation, but a redemption of people. We as Christians should not convey a Gospel message that is focused on redeeming people through laws passed by a secular government to influence or force practices to align to your application of Scriptural principals. We have politicians focused on the same tired tropes, but fail to address serious moral and spiritual issues at the leadership level. Holding people accountable for enabling Jeffrey Epstein, addressing how we care the poor, how we treat immigrants.... These are just as equally important as whether an abortion pill is approved or not approved.
