….is that a great foundation for good sound is the design of the building itself, so if you’re designing a new church, that’s a great thing to discuss with the architects. One thing I’ve learned is that a lot of older churches—big long hall—have excellent accoustics, more or less functioning as a multimode waveguide, while a lot of newer ones do not. So it becomes a fight between the building and the sound system.
