I am a Missionary

Kent Brandenburg: When my wife and I came to California in 1987, I started as an evangelist and became a pastor. I’m becoming an evangelist again in 2020. I am a missionary again. The church I started in 1987 in the San Francisco Bay Area is sending my wife and I to Jackson County, Oregon to evangelize. We want to reproduce our church.

Some people on SI have doctrinal differences with Bro. Brandenburg. Some, like me, have little patience for the KJVO movement but appreciate the arguments of the TR crowd, while still disagreeing. Bro. Brandenburg is the latter. Regardless, any gracious Christian should be thankful that a faithful pastor who planted a church in CA in 1987 is now moving to Oregon to plant a new church and share the Gospel! God is building His church, and it doesn’t always look precisely like yours!

I will pray for Bro. Brandenburg in this new mission.

Tyler is a pastor in Olympia, WA and works in State government.
