"The deafening silence of too much of the media, once a force for justice in America, is a disgrace"
Interesting article describing the bias in the media towards the things that matter - the things that break the heart of God.
Interesting to see how few have read the article.
Even more interesting to see that no one has posted.
I’m sure we have better things to do like argue about music or who one fellowships with.
I had the same thought Don. My son helped do the research on this article. On Mother’s day we started a major fund raiser for a gospel-centered crisis pregnancy center in our area. It is easy to get lulled into sleep on this issue which has been with us for so long. Let us not be weary in well doing.
Pastor Mike Harding
Thank you, Mike.
I’ve been involved in this issue for many years. It is refreshing and encouraging to see your church raise funds for a crisis pregnancy center.
May many more churches follow your example.
Blessings!

I have been pondering this very thing myself. Any tips or insight on establishing such a center would be greatly appreciated. Don or Mike, please feel free to PM me if that is more appropriate.

of starting a crisis pregnancy center here in Kiev and a hotline for all Ukraine.
And i wanted to add that, yes, this is gruesome. And here in Ukraine, there is a horrible past of taking newborns to use for their organs, etc. And even when baby’s are kept in orphanages, the stories of s`xual abuse, being sold out for weekends, impaired children being made bedridden so the orphanage gets more money, slowly killing them off when wanted. How does God bear it all?
i find the book of the Revelation comforting—how many times heaven’s inhabitants proclaimed Jesus as king, yet on earth there was still fighting, sin and injustice. But He is king, and we will all see it with our eyes one great day.
We had our first board meeting yesterday. It went really well. We’re a “working board,” we all have jobs to do to help the center get on its feet. These are very special people! The man in the white shirt and his wife to the right of him are our directors. It was very wonderful to here again how God had led them both into this ministry.
I heard a statistic a few years ago, from a woman who’s a director of a center in PA, that 2 percent of the world’s abortions happen in the U.S., and 98 percent of pro-life funds are spent on that 2 percent. Their center partners with a center in Romania now. God is raising up pro-life ministries in Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia, and many other places—it’s wonderful watching God do these things. He really does care for the small ones.
