More than 34 years of ministry, pastored churches in NE Brazil, Iowa, Illinois, Massachusetts and Minnesota. Richard received his doctorate of ministry from Trinity Ev. Divinity School. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia; children, Laura, Carrie and Rich (Joy); parents, William and Geraldine; brother, Ed (Jackie); and sister, Margaret (Chris). Memorial service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at First Baptist Church, Rockford. Memorials preferred to Mission:Chad, P.O. Box 686, Waxhaw, NC 28173.
