The Executive Summary on pp. 13-18 is worth a read
It is now clear that Administration knew about the wicked acts of this man. This should be a lesson to us all, that it is foolish and wrong to try to handle these types of matters outside of the law to protect an organization. It was wrong for the Catholic church to do it, it was wrong for Penn State to do it, and it is wrong when any pastor does it. Doing so only compounds the wickedness done on the victim and destroys the testimony with the community. May none of us ever be faced with sexual assult in our churches, but if we are, may God grant us the grace and boldness to deal with it head on.
