Well put.
Roeder.
Read the other threads going here about ultrasound and abortion procedures.
I have grace for this man, Roeder. I think he did wrong, but I also think it’s debatable.
Abortion is murder, grotesque, planned murder of absolutely defenseless humans. It’s a crime our government doesn’t punish and even supports. If he had gone into a concentration camp and shot the workers, is that a logically different action? Would we have said it was an absolutely condemable action? This man defended the innocent.
God is the judge. He will judge concentration camp workers, abortionists, and other deadly criminals. But at what point have we soothed our concsiences enough to where we absolutely decry what Roeder did?
I do understand the Biblical arguments of why it was wrong. I think evangelizing the abortionist would be a better approach, for whatever that would be worth. But I will be honest and say that I do understand this man Roeder and his logic. Grace, not justice, is the overriding factor in life, but in a sense, there were many vulnerable lives being physically ripped up.
