Is Christianity an obstacle to treating PTSD?

Perhaps the writer of the article, Tera McKelvey, overlooked Nouthetic Counseling. :) However, on a more serious note there is some validity to what the author of the article proposes. However it is not the fault of “Christianity” per se which includes of course the Scriptures, rather the treatment and prescription of the Scriptures by teachers and those counseling others which is often is the source of this counter-productive experience.
