President Carter severs all ties with Southern Baptists

President Carter and his wife have completely severed their relationship with Southern Baptists over the mistreatment of women. He explains their decision and why he has joined a group headed by Nelson Mandela called “The Elders” in the following article: http://www.theage.com.au/opinion/losing-my-religion-for-equality-200907….
Not surprised by the move, though “The Elders” sounds like a cult. In any case, perhaps Mr. Carter is finally home, religiously speaking.
