Interview with Stephen King and Jerry Jenkins

Someone pointed me to this interview with Stephen King and Jerry Jenkins in Writer’s Digest:

I found it very interesting. As the intro to the article says, “If this unique pairing seems unlikely, look closer. A conversation with the two yields both parallels and polarity—and candid insights as well as mutual respect.”

As sprinkled with Biblical references as King’s work is, it doesn’t surprise me that King would be able to respectfully sit down with an author like Jenkins, and I’d expect Jenkins to be able to be kind. King may write horror, but he isn’t an imbecile.
BTW, I remember seeing an interview with King’s brother David, who claims to be a Christian. Funny how differently their experiences as children affected David and Stephen- one embraces Biblical teaching, while the other seems a bit horrified by it and responds by mocking it.
