Dallas Theological Seminary

Michael, are you planning on being ordained, and if so, by a particular body? Generally, you should tailor your seminary to the type of church in which you are looking to serve. Dallas is both large and broad, which has pluses and minuses. On the one hand, great library, good faculty, exposure to different views, lots of people with whom to build relationships. On the other hand, there may be a less interactive class environment, less sense of community (usually), potential for systematic theology to be a comparative exercise rather than the explication of a coherent system (check with someone who goes there or sit in on a class). Also, make sure that you know their distinctives and agree with them, or at least would not be constantly irritated by them.
