Church in Tacoma Wa. Area?

I’m from Tacoma. I can recommend two for you, both Baptist churches:

Lakewood Baptist Temple, Lakewood, WA. It is a very good church that we attend whenever we bring the kids home to see the grandparents. They’re independent, fundamental Baptist and are KJV preferred. I’ve never once heard the KJV issue raised in church, so I don’t think it’s a hobby-horse for them.

Faith Baptist Church, Tacoma, WA. They’re somewhere in the North End. I’ve never actually seen them or stumbled across them! I’ve heard about them because they have a Bearing Precious Ministry run out of their church. I believe they’re similar to Lakewood Baptist Temple.

Don’t know of any others. Most of the churches in Tacoma seem to be contemporary, generic, non-denominational. I haven’t lived there since 2002, so I may be missing a few, however!

I can heartily recommend Lakewood Baptist Temple, though. They’re good. Lakewood is a suburb; you can get to it within 10-15 mins from Tacoma.
