Be aware, as you read this glowing report, that Kellemen is a paid employee of this “Coalition” and it is his job to promote it. He also serves as a “Director” of an AACC sub-organization. The AACC is wholly given over to an integrationist approach to counseling. I predict that as this “Coalition” evolves it will create more division, not less, especially within the organizations represented.

Donn…maybe I don’t have my facts quite right, but I don’t believe that Dr. Kelleman is paid by the Coalition….especially considering it doesn’t exist as a coalition yet! Where did you get the information that he was a paid employee?

There are some serious hurdles to cross, but my understanding is that there is excitement about building more cooperative relationships. This was evidenced by the presence of David Powlison at the Biblical counseling training at Lafayette. The formation process of the coalition is already beginning to bring people together. I’m not sure I agree with your assessment and predictions.

Yes, Kellemen is an employee of this “Coalition.” My only goal was to provide some balance. I would be glad to interact with you directly but this is not the place to debate the wisdom of this “Coalition.”

Donn,

I appreciated the opportunity to talk offline by phone and respond to any of your questions. I enjoyed our conversation. Always glad to interact with anyone about the vital issues of biblical counseling, sufficiency of Scripture, progressive sanctification, Gospel-Centered ministry, and changing lives with Christ’s changeless truh.
