Thoughts on a 9 Marks Weekender
For fifteen years, Mark Dever has been conducting “Weekenders” (Thursday through Monday) to teach and demonstrate the 9 Marks of a Healthy Church to interested men from around the world. I just attended my first and came away refreshed and revitalized for my local church to continue to proclaim the Gospel and represent Christ in our community. I appreciated the emphasis on meaningful church membership, discipleship, and true expositional preaching.
If you spend any time around the internet, you’ll probably recognize this word: “tribe.” Now for hundred of years “tribe” was a pretty unassuming member of the English language, content to describe a discrete sociological structure.
