Glenn Beck: "A modern-day Jeremiah"
The right kind of friend for IsraelThe liberal-leftist media in Israel has stooped to a new low in demonizing Glenn Beck before his “Restoring Courage” rallies in Caesarea and Jerusalem.

[Robert Byers] From the Jerusalem Prayer Team facebook page, here’s what Mike Evans told someone who objected to him working with a Mormon.Obama has also publicly stated that he believes in the Trinity, the virgin birth, deity, atonement, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and calls Jesus Christ his personal savior. As a matter of fact, he publicly professes belief in these core Christian doctrines every Easter. Yet somehow I don’t think that Mike Evans is as willing to accept Obama’s profession of faith as willingly as he is Glenn Beck’s. Of course, when Obama does it, many evangelicals claim not to believe him, and question his motivations, basically assuming that he is lying. So why on earth would anyone take Beck’s words at face value when it is commonly known that Mormons have been trying to blur the distinctions between their religion and Christianity for years, first in response to their declining conversion rates, and then as an attempt to increase the political power that this religion has always sought from the very beginning? Haven’t we forgotten that just 3 years ago, Mitt Romney was making the rounds speaking in evangelical churches calling Jesus Christ his personal savior, and having his rapid response PR team denounce anyone who criticized him for misleading people a bigot?
In the Jerusalem Prayer Team, we work with and minister to many, whose views and beliefs do not align with our own. In those cases, we share The Word, pray for them, and believe the Holy Spirit will do His work, which is to convict of unrighteousness and sin and lead to Truth. In the case of Glenn Beck, I understand he came from Mormon background. In fact, I’m 100% opposed to it!
The only thing I know for sure is that Glenn Beck called me and told me personally that he has accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and that once he was lost, an alcoholic, and that now his life has been radically transformed by the Lord. In our conversations, he has talked to me about his devotion to The Lord. He told me that the Holy Spirit had directed him to move to Texas and join a church. The church he is joining is the same one that I attend — a spirit-filled, Bible-believing church.
We continue to pray for Glenn, that he, along with the rest of us, will continue in his devotion to the Lord and his journey to know Him better.
Still more evidence that conservative political affiliation is now becoming the equivalent of a church creed or confession.
