Gov. Chris Christie plans to sign a bill Monday barring licensed therapists from trying to turn gay teenagers straight

Good to know where Christie stands. He is in the forefront of the homosexual agenda. I personally think conversion therapy is kinda silly, but why this silly therapy is banned among all the silly therapies out there is very telling.
Preaching the gospel of repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ might be labeled by the the left as conversion therapy. Christie is a disgrace, a compromiser, an opportunist. He has a big mouth and a small backbone, his size not withstanding.

The law bars “licensed therapists” NOT “Preaching the gospel of repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ” … Let’s not overstate his position.
I agree Jim. I just don’t trust the political left on this issue at all. I don’t think it will be a giant step for the left to apply this to preaching and condemn it as hate speech. It has already occurred in Canada. In addition, what is to prevent the left from deeming Christian counseling on this issue in the church or Christian school as violating the law?

Nothing.
It’s called “incrementalism” — won’t be conservative Christians today, but next year, five years, ten…
Bible-believing Christians are on the list - just not today.
It’s a violation of a person’s right to seek professional help for a specific reason that has been deemed politically incorrect. IOW, it’s ok to get counseling if you want to be gay, but not OK to seek counseling if you DON’T want to be gay. That’s ridiculous. The gov’t shouldn’t EVER be in the position of telling people when and why they can or should receive counseling.
