Discussion

I am no historian, which is why I am asking this. What, if any, similarities are there between Islam as a nation and the colonies? I remember in history class that people were persecuted, to what degree idk, in some of our colonies for not believing whichever religion was there. Thoughts. I am just curious and also realize that there are major differences.
