You should expand the quote so it is more clear. IT should not stop with John Wilkerson, but say:

For the past eight years, Dr. Young has served as president of Hyles-Anderson College under the leadership of John Wilkerson, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana

Which of course is a bold un-truth.
