"Left Behind" Movie Poster Revealed; Tim LaHaye Weighs in on Script
”’It will not cover everything that the first book includes, but will be more specifically concentrated on those first few hours and the chaos of the world in the wake of millions of people vanishing with no explanation,’ according to the official website for the film, scheduled for a 2014 release.”

And the quest for the dollar continues to drive LaHaye. This is nonsense.

It doesn’t appear Lahaye is involved in the remake.
“It’s probably the worst script I’ve ever read,” LaHaye told CP. “And I’ve read scores of them.”

It would be hard pressed to exceed the theatrical quality of “Thief in the Night”

Looks like LaHaye was left behind.
I watched the first “Left Behind” Movie….well, at least the first half — before I had too much and just had to turn it off even though I had rented it. I had hoped it was better than the books — which I will confess I read to see what all the buzz was about and those were the only fiction books I read in a decade. Eventually, I realized how bad they really were when I found myself hoping that the anti-Christ would kill off some of the main characters.

The “Anti-Christ” went from a believable megalomaniac to a “B” movie monster.
When he (the Anti-Christ) started yelling in the temple and throwing pig-blood everywhere, I realized I should put the book down and do something a little more constructive.
It seems to me the Left Behind series almost makes it hip and cool to miss the Rapture.
