This is not surprising seeing that for many of them their parents and grandparents were Baby Boomers whose generation(s) emphasized anti-establishmentarianism, hence this is the consequential amplification. Secondly and rather consistent with this age group of 20-somethings and early 30’s is that they are at the point where self-identification is not expected to be complete, thus they are less inclined to do so.
