I like what he notes; we might also phrase it as the "early church" strategy, where people quietly went about their lives in Christ and turned the empire of Rome upside down--gaining huge credibility by caring for pagans whose own relatives and friends wouldn't give them care during a plague.

Appreciated the story of Cooper's Brewery carrying on the lessons learned halfway around the world in Dublin by Arthur Guinness, too.
